Tony Memmel's composition with Westford Students, We Are School S.P.I.R.I.T., is ready!
Tony Memmel produces Chrisafulli/Day/Abbot joint student work during guest residency in Westford
The song Tony Memmel created with Westford students is complete! During his residency in Westford, Tony collected hundreds of lyric, melody, and rhythm ideas, a few field recordings, and brought them all back to Nashville to assemble the final project.
It turned out really cool! Check this out: YouTube: We Are School S.P.I.R.I.T. (Lyric Video)
Born with one hand, Tony Memmel taught himself to play guitar professionally by building a one-of-a-kind adaptive cast out of duct tape. With his message and music, unique charisma and creativity, Tony has been invited to speak and perform in 47 US states, 25 countries, plus 16 countries virtually, inspiring audiences with his talks about hard work, determination and resilience.
Tony Memmel's residency was made possible by YOUTHArts Westford in partnership with the faculty and staff of the Westford Public Schools and the Westford Education Foundation.
