Westford Community and Families: encourage, enjoy and celebrate Westford's emerging young artists and musicians! This special evening showcases developing and accomplished solo performers, artists and their art. Special guest State Rep Jim Arciero will present a significant grant from the Massachusetts Cultural Council to YOUTHArts Westford, opening new opportunities for positive impact for the arts in Westford!
Suggested donation: $5 covers costs to produce this event; additional amounts support our ongoing mission.

The art gallery can be viewed prior to the concert program and during intermission. The concert program is expected to run approximately 2 hours. Refreshments will be available for purchase; BYOB if desired.

An art gallery featuring Westford young artists spanning all grade levels!
Solo classical, jazz and popular performances by accomplished Westford young soloists and small ensembles
Artist's journeys - learn the creative process and what drives and inspires our young artists and musicians, in their own words
Awards and recognition for the accomplishments of Westford's young visual and performing artists
A special announcement regarding YOUTHArts Westford's increasing impact for the Westford community

Are you an aspiring musician in Westford who would like to share your talents with the community? Here is an opportunity for qualified solo musicians or small ensembles to join our concert program. YOUTHArts Westford relies on volunteers to help this event run smoothly for everyone. We appreciate volunteer assistance in a variety of ways including:
Marketing and social media
Event setup/breakdown
Managing concessions
Managing green room / assistance for artists and musicians
Managing the door
Staffing for art gallery open hours the week following the event

YOUTHArts Westford encourages any youth in Westford to submit their artwork to this event, regardless of age, medium or skill level. The purpose is to encourage the creativity and passion for artistic expression within the youth of this community.
All art will be judged by local artists. Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each age category!
Artists are limited to two original works each, with a maximum size of 24 inches by 24 inches. YOUTHArts Westford guarantees that at least one of the artist’s works will be hung for display at the exhibition, possibly more depending on the volume of works submitted.
Artwork can either be framed or mounted on a board and must be suitable to hang. In the case of sculptural submissions, artwork must be free standing or mounted to a secure base.
Submission Fee: $10 per artist, payable at time of artwork drop off.
All artwork is to be labeled with full name and contact information (telephone number, email address, and street address) affixed to the back.
This art contest is open to all Westford residents in grade categories K-2, 3-5, 6-8 and 9-12.
